Overview — Today Horizon
Answers:
"What matters today?"
The Overview is the tactical cockpit of Montis. It is designed to provide immediate clarity on today's execution without overwhelming the athlete with macro-level trends or chronic data.
Key Focus Areas
- Today's Planned Training: Prescribed workouts, target duration, TSS, and intensity targets.
- Current Recovery Context: Immediate HRV status, sleep quality, resting HR, and subjective readiness.
- Immediate Coaching Status: The current ADE (Adaptive Decision Engine) operational directive (
load_acceptingorrecovery_priority). - Target Event Horizon: Immediate taper/sharpening guidance.

Weekly Activity Check — Icon & Shape Guide
The Weekly Activity Check visualizes your weekly progress, planned versus actual sessions, and sport types. Below is the complete key explaining all design shapes, colors, and sport symbols exactly as they are coded and displayed.
1. Completion & Activity States (The Outer Containers)
| Visual Shape | Status Meaning | Code & Visual Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Solid Green Circle | Completed Activity (Plain) | A solid green circular badge representing a workout successfully completed and synchronized from external connected sources. |
| Serrated Green Gear | Completed Activity (Sprocket) | To differentiate multiple completed workouts on the same day and prevent visual clutter, the app alternates: the first, third, and fifth completed sessions render as a Serrated Gear (Sprocket Badge), while the second and fourth render as Solid Green Circles. |
| Dashed Green Ring | Planned Workout | A light green dashed outline with a transparent/light green center. This represents a prescribed session on your calendar that has not been executed yet. |
| Pulsing Teal Dot (Top-Right Corner) |
Completed Activity Synced | Appears on all completed sessions as a small pulsing teal dot, confirming that the workout data has been successfully imported and matched. |
| Teal SQUARE Border | Today's Sprocket Event | If an event is on Today and is a Sprocket (Serrated Gear), the system wraps it in a high-contrast teal border. Because the Sprocket component uses a rectangular box model, this focus border renders as a Square. |
| Teal CIRCLE Border | Today's Circular Event | If an event is on Today and is a circular badge, the high-contrast teal focus border renders as a Circle around the icon. |
| Translucent Gray "REST" Circle | Rest Day | Days with absolutely zero planned or completed workouts are represented by a translucent soft-gray circle containing the uppercase text "REST" inside (it is never left blank, so you always know it was an intentional recovery day). |
2. Sport Type Symbols (The Inside Icons)

Ride Fatigue Resistance
The adaptation card can show how much of your normal cycling power you keep deep into long rides. It needs fatigued power curves set up in Intervals.icu.

Operational Workflow
The Overview horizon serves as the primary daily check-in:
- Check recovery signals and daily readiness score.
- Review prescribed session structure and target power/HR zones.
- Align execution with live ADE coaching recommendations.
