Montis Skills

Montis Skills are advanced, user-directed analytical modules designed to help you interact with your training data at a surgical level. Instead of passive metric viewing, Skills allow you to analyze individual workouts, design training sequences, and track progress over time.

🔬 Session Intensity Lab (SIL)

The Session Intensity Lab is your tactical analysis command center. It breaks down structured and unstructured workouts into physiological building blocks:

  • Interval Extraction: Automatically parses raw power, pace, and heart rate data to identify work repetitions versus recovery periods.
  • Execution Diagnostics: Evaluates compliance to prescription, subjective RPE, power/pace consistency, and power fade across repetitions.
  • Cardiovascular Drift: Calculates aerobic decoupling (Pw:HR or Pa:HR) to measure cardiovascular efficiency and fitness adaptations.

🛠️ Workouts & AI Builder

The AI Workout Builder connects your historical training evidence directly to your active Intervals.icu calendar:

  • Smart Workout Generation: Drafts precise, structured workouts customized to your current physiology and training targets.
  • Calendar Write: Seamlessly schedules, replaces, or creates workouts on your calendar without leaving the Montis environment.
  • Physiological Adaptation Matching: Suggests micro-progressions or regressions based on recent performance responses.

📈 Performance Progression

The Performance Progression Pathway creates a historical lineage of comparable training objectives:

  • Curated Exposures: Empowers you to group similar workouts (e.g., VO₂ Max, Threshold, Sweet Spot) into a linear progression timeline.
  • Prescribed vs. Realised Tracking: Strictly isolates what you were asked to do from what you actually achieved over time.
  • Flexible Trajectory Charts: Visually maps performance, volume, intensity, or compliance trends.
  • Deterministic AI Coach: Automatically analyzes pathway history to deliver validated next-step recommendations (Progress, Maintain, Repeat, Regress).
